If you've lost your passport
5-step recovery
- File Balagh Faqdan (loss report) at the nearest police station. Keep the receipt.
- Call your country's embassy or consulate. British nationals: +966 11 481 9100.
- Embassy issues an Emergency Travel Document — bring loss receipt + 2 photos + ID copies.
- Apply for an exit visa via Jawazat (immigration). Embassy usually facilitates.
- Travel home with the temporary document. Process takes 3-5 days typically.
