Walk to the highest open ground
From the clock tower
The tower stands directly south of the Haram. Walk toward it. From its base, your hotel district (Ajyad / Kuday) opens to the south-east. If you saved a pin, the map shows the exact direction from the tower.
From inside the Haram
Find the nearest gate sign — every gate is numbered in Arabic and English. King Abdulaziz Gate 1 is the main south exit (opens to Ajyad). King Fahd Gate is the main west exit. Bab al-Salam is the north exit. Pick the gate closest to where your hotel sits.
From the Sa'i corridor
You're on the eastern side of the Haram. Marwa is the north end of the corridor, Safa the south. The corridor exits at Marwa Gate (north) and Ajyad Gate (south). Pick the end closest to your hotel.
If you can't see anything familiar
Walk to higher open ground and look up. The clock tower is taller than every building around it — if you can see the sky, you can probably see the tower. Walk toward it. Once at its base you're at the south edge of the Haram complex.
